Your extras may have rolled over. But tooth decay doesn’t take a break.

Don’t let your check-up roll over too. Call or book online today.

Did you know that as a health fund member, the cost of your next dental check-up could be covered by your extras?

Your next dental check-up could cost you nothing*

That means no out-of-pocket costs* for you to pay. We will process your rebate immediately and you can claim on the same day as your treatment. Your oral health shouldn’t wait – make the most of the cover you’re paying for.

Every year, many of our patients miss out on dental extras they’ve already paid for by failing to use them – we wouldn’t want you to be one of them!

Put your dental extras to good use with a comprehensive check-up and clean.

Step 1. Check your health insurance policy

Log in to your health fund account to double-check the dental cover included in your policy. Your dental insurance may cover you for a full check-up*, including a clean, scale and polish. Bitewing x-rays are not included in the $0 out-of-pocket check-up and may incur an out-of-pocket cost.

Step 2. Book your dental check-up

Once you’re clear on your coverage, book to secure an appointment with us before the end of the calendar year.

The power of regular check-ups

Even with the best oral hygiene routine, dental problems can still arise. In fact, about 9 out of every 10 adults in Australia have experienced dental decay**, which can lead to cavities.

Left untreated, cavities can result in infection, pain and even tooth loss.

A check-up every 6 months is the best way to keep dental decay at bay. Our dentists always provide a thorough check to detect any issues early, before they become advanced and potentially more costly to treat.

During your check-up, we’ll perform a thorough inspection of your teeth and gums, and be on the lookout for signs of these common issues:

  • Cavities
  • Tooth decay
  • Sensitivity
  • Gum disease

Your appointment will also include a professional clean, scale and floss, as well as the opportunity to discuss any additional concerns you may have.

Oral health is linked to overall health too

The benefits of regular check-ups extend well beyond a healthy smile. Studies show there is a connection between gum disease and conditions including diabetes, heart disease and even Alzheimer’s disease.

So a 6-monthly check-up brings peace of mind that you’re helping protect both the health of your mouth and your body.

Terms and Conditions

The cost of NDC Australia Pty Ltd. dental treatments and services may be covered by your health fund, and our practices accept all major health funds.

*Check with your health fund to determine whether you are eligible for a ‘gap-free’ check-up (as cover levels and benefits can vary between health funds), and to understand the implications of using your health fund benefits, including that this may result in you having less available benefits in the future for other health services. Bitewing x-rays are not included in the $0 out-of-pocket check-up and may incur an out-of-pocket cost. Your dentist will advise you in advance if x-rays are recommended and confirm the applicable cost. ^AHM is rolling over most remaining extras annual limits from the 2025/2026 financial year. Rollover amounts and eligibility are subject to AHM’s terms and conditions. Please check your policy or contact AHM directly to confirm your entitlements.
